Unity of Sounds is a collaboration of producers from Amsterdam. This recently
established collaboration was initiated by Studio West and it focuses on talented
producers in the age 15-25 from Amsterdam. It was created because we believe
that there is not enough attention for those who produce music. The collaboration’s
mission statement is to support new musical talent and work together to get their
sounds accessible for the public. Unity of Sounds is devoted to developing a
community around music producers in Amsterdam.

The producers receive coaching from producer I.N.T. of hip hop group La Melodia
(www.lamelodia.com). Twice a month the producers come together in Studio West to
work on new music. Each producer is working on its own release and in addition they
produce mixtapes/podcasts. At the beginning of the project the personal goals are
determined! There is a lot of attention to the uniqueness of the individual artist.
